Your workweek will be Monday through Thursday, giving you the chance to enjoy three-day weekends and maintain a healthy work-life balance. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 11th.
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- NMPED (New Mexico Public Education Department) license required
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable providing therapy to PreK–5th grade students
- Committed to working onsite throughout the assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 18 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals in school settings
- Document services and maintain records adhering to school, district, and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Support students’ access to their learning environment, fostering growth and independence
