Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active and valid Alabama Occupational Therapy license/certification
- School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEP-driven service delivery and documentation
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to multitask and manage caseloads independently across multiple locations
- Commitment to on-site work (remote options are not available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to 50–60 students across four schools
- Deliver interventions individually, in small groups, and via push-in models, depending on IEP recommendations
- Implement and document services per frequency guidelines (weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly)
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop and review IEPs
- Maintain timely, detailed documentation and progress notes
- Contribute to a positive, student-centered atmosphere within each school setting
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in all aspects of practice
