Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid Alabama Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
- Strong ability to manage cases, deliver both direct and indirect therapy, and keep thorough progress documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and school professionals
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide both direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Manage a caseload, conducting evaluations and implementing evidence-based treatment plans
- Track and report on student progress, ensuring documentation meets school and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers, other professionals, and families to support student success
