What we’re looking for:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
- Adaptability to serve students at different developmental stages
- Compassion, creativity, and commitment to developing individualized interventions
- Ability to travel between two nearby elementary campuses as needed
What you’ll do:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs within the school environment
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans to help students meet their educational goals
- Integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines and work directly with teachers for maximum student benefit
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintain detailed progress notes, and prepare necessary reports
