Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapy license for the state of Idaho (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans meeting IEP goals
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs within the educational environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy interventions to support student participation and performance
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school teams, and family members to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
