Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Idaho or eligibility to obtain
- Demonstrated experience working with children or adolescents, preferably within a school setting
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant documentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists
- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Ability to assess and address sensory, fine motor, self-care, and environmental access needs for students
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine needs and develop targeted OT intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services per IEPs and team recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
- Document and track student progress, maintaining detailed and timely records
- Engage with families to provide guidance and resources supporting student goals at school and home
- Participate in IEP meetings and staff development activities as a valued member of the team
