Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working within school settings is preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families
- Creativity in adapting activities and interventions to meet diverse needs
- Comfortable supporting pre-K through high school students as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address educational goals
- Provide direct and consultative services in both group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and complete IEP paperwork
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support student progress
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student independence
- Adapt environments and materials to foster accessibility and participation in classroom activities
