Two unique assignments are available: one part-time (4 days/week) lasting the full academic year, and another full-time role for the second semester. What we’re looking for:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid licensure to practice in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered care
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse populations and tailoring interventions accordingly
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Serve as a resource for education staff, providing strategies for classroom inclusion
