Step into a dynamic school-based occupational therapy opportunity serving middle school students in the Bothell, WA area. This part-time contract role begins September 3, 2027 and runs through January 3, 2027, allowing you to make a significant impact over the fall semester. Working three days a week for a total of 21 hours, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 40 students (number may vary) as you provide crucial OT support to empower student success.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- An active ESA Certificate
- A current Washington State DOH OT license
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with middle school-aged children strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to fit diverse student needs
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and evaluating students to determine OT needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans consistent with IEP goals
- Documenting student progress and preparing required reports
- Collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
- Providing consultative guidance to school staff to foster inclusive learning environments
