School Occupational Therapist | Bothell, Washington
Make an immediate impact on students’ learning and growth as an Occupational Therapist supporting PreK through 5th grade in a school-based environment near Bothell, WA. This onsite contract opportunity runs for the full 2026/2027 school year and involves working closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 40 students. You’ll help foster independence, participation, and positive outcomes for children who benefit from your expertise in occupational therapy within an educational setting.
Ideal candidates are dedicated therapy professionals with a passion for working with children. Collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff will be essential to developing and executing individualized plans that help each student reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Washington
- May require a Washington Teaching Certificate
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably PreK through 5th grade
- Knowledge of school-based OT practices and IEP participation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students on your caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all services rendered
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-related activities as needed
