Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs
- Excellent organization and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine OT needs within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with educational teams
- Provide direct intervention, consultation, and support as specified in students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Document all services, progress, and recommendations thoroughly and timely
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to team discussions
- Utilize evidence-based approaches to ensure effective, meaningful impact for students
