Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility for licensure)
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Prior experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering direct/consultative therapy
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for adapting to new settings and teams
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and create individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to help students achieve educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
