Desired Skills & Credentials:
- Valid Washington Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification in WA
- Completed OSPI fingerprinting for school district employment
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Passion for working with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability for working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions to support students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate, timely records and comply with legal, ethical, and school guidelines
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student independence and participation
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as needed
