Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts
- Experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings highly preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in educational and healthcare/clinical OT
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress reporting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach when working with children in grades K-8
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized OT interventions in alignment with student IEP goals
- Develop and implement treatment plans focused on functional school participation, handwriting, self-care, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress in a timely manner
- Guide families and caregivers with home-based strategies to further student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
