Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions supporting students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload across multiple buildings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation among all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ therapeutic needs in academic and functional areas
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans and targeted interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP goals
- Provide consultation, resources, and professional guidance to educational staff
- Rotate between both assigned high schools as scheduled, ensuring consistent service delivery and follow-up
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
