URGENT NEEDS: Occupational Therapist (OT) - School-Based Opportunities
Multiple Openings Available (4 Positions)
We are seeking experienced School-Based Occupational Therapists (OTs) to provide services to students receiving special education support in educational settings. These opportunities include both full-year and leave-of-absence coverage assignments across multiple locations.
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of practice.
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is required.
- Experience working with students receiving special education services, including Setting IV programming, preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete agency onboarding requirements and district background checks.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to commit to assigned school schedules and contract durations.
- Candidates previously placed within the district must be in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and implement occupational therapy services for students receiving special education support.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student needs.
- Support students in developing functional, academic, sensory, and motor skills necessary for educational participation.
