This position provides the chance to engage with a diverse caseload and work with several schools, with the potential to extend beyond the initial contract term.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of approximately 22 students across several schools
- Utilize on-site conference rooms for therapy sessions
- Supply your own materials and equipment for therapy
- Maintain all required documentation in alignment with IEP/ARD expectations
- Attend ARD meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to IEP planning
- Estimated schedule is 1–2 days per week, totaling roughly 8 hours weekly or 30–35 hours monthly
This role starts as soon as possible and runs through June 4, 2027, with the potential for renewal for the following school year.
