Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting, preferably serving K-12 students.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with educators, families, and students.
  • Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver targeted therapy services to students.
  • Develop and implement interventions that help students build skills for school participation.
  • Monitor progress, document sessions, and adjust strategies to support students’ evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students’ educational experiences.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and professional development as required.
