Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working closely with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade
- Commitment to evidence-based and inclusive practices
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapy to students with a range of needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Provide consultation and education to teachers and parents to support student participation in academic and social activities
- Attend meetings, contribute professional expertise, and help integrate therapy goals into daily routines
