This contract position is onsite and offers an immediate start, with the assignment running through June 16, 2027. You’ll be providing valuable occupational therapy support to young learners, making a tangible difference in their school experience.
This is a part-time opportunity, with 21 hours per week split over 2-3 days, and the potential for increased hours as the school year progresses—possibly growing to a full five-day schedule. The role involves close collaboration with educational teams, students, and families, all within a supportive school-based setting.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
- Ability to provide or obtain all necessary PA clearances
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Skilled in working with early childhood or younger student populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the process
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted occupational therapy interventions to support students’ academic and developmental needs
- Assess, document, and report on students’ progress
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to develop and implement IEP goals
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for students
- Participate in team meetings and consultations as needed
