School Occupational Therapist | Chester, Vermont

With flexibility for both on-site and virtual candidates, this position allows you to leverage your expertise whether you’re local or seeking a remote role. Over the course of the school year, you’ll support district-wide needs from August 26 through June 14, working a consistent schedule of 35-37.5 hours weekly. This is a highly collaborative environment where your input and skillset will contribute directly to student success and well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) holding a valid Vermont OT/COTA Certification
- Relevant experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Capacity to manage caseloads across multiple grade levels
- Experience with both direct and consultative service delivery models
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide OT support across all K-12 student populations
- Oversee COTA(s) contributing to service coverage for 5th-12th and select 2nd-4th grades
- Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in virtual or onsite staff meetings and IEP processes
