Bring your expertise in school-based, home health, or healthcare occupational therapy to enrich services for approximately 30 students, helping them succeed academically and socially. This part-time position spans three days each week, providing the perfect balance between professional fulfillment and personal life.
Key Qualifications:
• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Experience in school, home health, or healthcare OT settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs
• Ability to develop, implement, and update IEP goals
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assess students to design targeted therapy interventions
• Create individualized plans to promote fine motor, sensory, and life skills
• Document progress and adjust strategies as needed for each student
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff
• Educate families and staff on best practices and carryover techniques
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
