Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students of all abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans supporting educational and developmental goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into the classroom and daily routines
- Maintain timely, accurate records aligned with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on occupational therapy interventions
- Offer recommendations for adaptive tools, classroom accommodations, and sensory supports as needed
