This contract-based position offers onsite occupational therapy services in a collaborative school environment, ideal for professionals enthusiastic about pediatric therapy and looking to make a meaningful difference.
With a part-time schedule of 21 hours per week across 2-3 days—plus the exciting potential to expand up to five days over the school year—you’ll have the flexibility to balance work with your other commitments. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through mid-June 2027, providing stability and the chance to build lasting relationships with students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active OT license in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience in schools, particularly with early childhood or younger children, highly preferred
- Ability to provide (or secure) required Pennsylvania clearances
- Confident communicator and collaborator
- Passionate about fostering growth and independence in young learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted OT interventions to students in early childhood programs, supporting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary school teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Assess student needs and progress, maintaining thorough, up-to-date documentation
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
- Contribute insights to foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
