Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Prior experience with pediatric, K-12, or school-based OT preferred
- Familiarity with home health or healthcare-based therapy techniques
- Competency in planning and delivering teletherapy sessions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary educational teams
- Dedication to ongoing professional development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop targeted treatment plans
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Support students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Utilize telehealth tools to reach students remotely as needed
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
- Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development
