Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure (state requirements apply)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to support students across various grade levels, including high school
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to promoting student well-being and educational success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to meet IEP goals during the Extended School Year (ESY); 4.5 hours per day, Monday-Thursday, with varying grade levels
- During the 2026/2027 school year, provide OT services to high school students (7.5 hours per day, 35 hours per week)
- Evaluate and document student progress using standardized assessments and observations
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies and modifications
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to offer expertise and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
