School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Texas | 2026-2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based opportunity in Texas for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August 2026. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive educational team while making a meaningful impact on students’ academic and developmental success.
Whether you are an experienced school-based therapist or an OT looking to transition from a clinical, outpatient, rehabilitation, or medical setting into schools, this position offers valuable experience in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Position Details
Very part-time position; 5-6 hours/week
1-2 days/week
2026-2027 school year
Assignment Dates: 8/11/26 - 5/21/27
Onsite position
Caseload and school assignment discussed during interview
Supportive district and multidisciplinary team environment
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and maintain required documentation
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
Develop individualized treatment plans to support student success and independence
Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting
Requirements
Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Texas Occupational Therapy license
Ability to work onsite within a school-based setting
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
Open to candidates transitioning from clinical, outpatient, rehabilitation, or hospital settings
