Key Qualifications:
- Valid OT license in the state of Rhode Island
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric therapy environment preferred
- Ability to adapt interventions for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess and document students’ functional abilities and progress
- Collaborate with teachers and student support teams to adapt classroom activities and facilitate student participation
- Maintain thorough and timely reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute to team meetings as needed, supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment
