School Occupational Therapist | Danielson, Connecticut

We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist who thrives in a school-based environment. You’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing interventions that support students’ physical, cognitive, and sensory needs—directly impacting their ability to learn and participate.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license for Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in schools and collaborating on IEP teams strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff
- Strong organizational abilities to manage caseload and documentation
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluate students to determine OT needs within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation per district and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
