Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous OT experience in a K-12 school setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Proficiency in assessment, progress monitoring, and adaptive interventions
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop goal-driven intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students
- Support students’ participation in learning activities and school routines
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Educate staff and families on strategies to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records in line with school district protocols
