This role offers an excellent opportunity to see firsthand how different schools approach leadership and therapy integration, fostering growth as you collaborate with a supportive team—including two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). You’ll work with 35–45 primarily elementary students, developing strategies to empower young learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist or eligible for Wisconsin licensure
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to diverse needs
- Passion for making a difference in educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students
- Oversee and collaborate with two COTAs to deliver high-quality therapy services
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with teachers and staff
- Engage in professional development within a progressive district
