- Aptitude for building rapport with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized goals and intervention plans
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in classroom and small group settings
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student care
- Educate staff and families about strategies and accommodations to support student success
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to foster continual growth
