Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as needed within the Denver area
- Commitment to maintaining accurate and timely documentation
Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough screenings and evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding strategies and supports
- Adhere to district and federal guidelines regarding student evaluation procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all student interactions
