Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Background in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings
- Strong ability to adapt creative interventions to individual needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ unique needs
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans that foster academic and functional success
- Deliver direct and consultative services, adapting approaches to a diverse student population
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into classroom and home routines
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports according to school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
