The part-time role for the 2026-2027 school year offers either a .4 or .6 FTE schedule (2 or 3 days per week), focused on early learners in a developmental environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Experience in schools, particularly early childhood and special education settings, is highly valued
- Ability to travel between locations within the preschool consortium as needed
- Strong communication, empathy, and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators and families
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to develop and implement tailored therapy plans for young students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver occupational therapy services to early childhood students, adapting strategies for diverse needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, special educators, and families—to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide ongoing feedback to staff and families
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to professional development, and remain informed of best practices in school-based occupational therapy
