Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and active OT licensure (or eligibility) for California
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process, goal writing, and appropriate therapy interventions
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and provide services across multiple school environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and progress updates
- Support and educate school staff on strategies for student inclusion and functional performance
