Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based | Brentwood/Oakley, CA | 2026–2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based opportunity serving high school students in the Brentwood/Oakley, California area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an in-person itinerant position supporting multiple school sites, with travel between locations as needed; however, therapists will only report to one site per day.
Position Details:
* Full-time position
* Approximately 36 hours per week
* School hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
* 2026–2027 school year
* Start date: Late July or Early August 2026
* Caseload: Approximately 40 students
* High school-aged student population
* In-person services only
* Oakley/Brentwood area
* Itinerant role with limited same-day travel between sites
Responsibilities:
* Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEP goals
* Conduct evaluations and complete required documentation
* Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
* Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
* Support students in developing functional, academic, and life skills within the school environment
Qualifications:
* Active California Occupational Therapist license
* Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and travel between assigned sites
Compensation:
* Hourly pay range: $55-$65+ based on level of experience and qualifications
