This contract position focuses on providing Early Intervention and Extended School Year (ESY) services for preschool students in the Lower Bucks County region, including the Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown areas. The role begins tentatively in early July 2026 and continues through June 2027, aligning with the local school calendar.
This is a dynamic position featuring part-time hours during the summer (approximately 15 hours weekly) and increasing during the regular school year as more students are referred for services. If you are motivated, adaptable, and ready to support the unique needs of preschool students, your expertise will be highly valued here.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license meeting state requirements
- Minimum of one year of school-based Occupational Therapy experience (new graduates cannot be considered at this time)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with preschool-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver Early Intervention and ESY OT services in accordance with each student's individualized education program (IEP)
- Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
- Flexibility in scheduling and adapting caseload as referrals increase throughout the academic year
