Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota occupational therapist license (required)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with caseloads ranging from elementary to high school
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students in need of occupational therapy services
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans to support academic and functional success
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student development
- Provide strategies and resources for classroom accommodations and modifications
