Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a current Minnesota occupational therapist license
- Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
- Proficient in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable delivering services across a range of grade levels, from elementary through high school
- Organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload and maintain thorough documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for occupational therapy services
- Develop, implement, and update IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative support to students in both classroom and individual settings
- Provide guidance and training to staff and caregivers to facilitate student success
- Monitor, track, and report progress in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Engage actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
