Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid OT license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and students.
- Flexible approach—comfortable managing both elementary caseloads and, if full time, some middle school students.
- Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy services within elementary classrooms (and middle school students for full time).
- Document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school guidelines.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student participation and performance.
- Suggest and implement strategies, modifications, and accommodations to facilitate student access and success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
