Occupational Therapist School Setting in Edison, NJ
Make an impact as a dedicated school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students near Edison, NJ through a flexible contract role. As an OT in this role, you’ll deliver high-quality services six times per month, with each session lasting 25 minutes. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
- Prior experience in school-based OT or home health OT
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs and school requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy to students according to their IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate case notes
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings as needed
