Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois
- Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Skilled at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess student needs and develop treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer expert recommendations for classroom modifications and accommodations
