Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students’ functional abilities within the academic environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual therapy plans based on student IEPs
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to address fine motor, sensory, and functional performance challenges
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to facilitate student progress and promote independence
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress notes, and assessments in compliance with district and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of individualized educational programs
- Educate school staff and families about strategies and accommodations to support classroom success
