Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of California
- Previous experience practicing as a school-based OT is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, staff, and families
- Experience delivering therapy services to K-12 populations is a plus
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, adhering to IEP goals and district guidelines
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and records in compliance with regulatory and school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
