Soliant is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for a year-round opportunity supporting adolescents and young adults in a specialized educational setting. This is a contract-to-hire position, with the organization looking to transition the right candidate to permanent employment after an initial three-month contract.
Position Overview
- ASAP start
- Work with students ages 13–21 (grades 8–12)
- Approximately 15–17 direct service hours per week, plus consultative services
- Wednesdays are student half-days, allowing additional time for documentation, meetings, and planning
- Year-round schedule rather than a traditional school calendar
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Provide occupational therapy services to students.
- Support functional, developmental, and sensory needs.
- Complete documentation and participate in meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers and the multidisciplinary team.
- Active Maryland OT license.
- Previous experience in a school or specialized educational setting preferred.
- COTAs are not eligible for this position.
- Compensation
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
Interview Process: Onsite interview required so candidates can tour the setting and meet the population before accepting.
