Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Prior experience working in school settings is highly desired
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Dedication to promoting student participation and inclusion within educational routines
- Proficient organizational skills and adaptability within a fast-paced school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Develop and execute individualized education program (IEP) goals in partnership with staff and parents
- Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Consult and train teachers and school staff regarding appropriate accommodations and interventions
- Maintain detailed documentation of services, progress, and communication in accordance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in support of student success
