Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid Colorado Occupational Therapist license required
- Prior experience working in school settings or with children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, staff, and families
- Adept at developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and documenting progress
- Flexible and adaptive, with the ability to meet a range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for students requiring occupational therapy services
- Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group formats, focusing on supporting students’ fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to school and regulatory standards
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies throughout the educational day
