Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in at least one of these settings: schools, home health, or healthcare
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IEP development
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to helping children improve their functional independence
- Familiarity with documentation and reporting requirements in educational contexts
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions, adapting strategies for school and/or home settings
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and report on student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and support goal-setting for students with special needs
- Educate and consult with families and teams on recommended interventions
