Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt strategies for a diverse K-12 student population
- Strong commitment to fostering students’ independence and participation in school activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive OT services to K-12 students with varied needs
- Perform assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Support students in building skills for classroom participation, daily living, and motor development
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in alignment with IEP goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed
